While exploring these sites, I read a tutorial which basically said to draw a picture in pencil, scan it into your computer. Print out that scan and add color using watercolor paints. This was then also scanned in and the layers duplicated and effects added etc. to create the end result. It looked beautiful... I don't think mine does, but it's only my first attempt and I didn't want to devote too much time to something that may not/didn't really work out.
